The art department site was a collaboration with a former student, Becky Tomino; Beck created a mockup of layout, and I built the XHTML, CSS implementation. After creating the layout, I created a PHP backend that allows faculty to add images, flash animation, and quicktime movies to a dynamic categorized gallery page. Also, faculty can add new faculty members and add to a custom news blog. The site receives thousands of hits each month from faculty, current students, and prospective students.
